I help clients become aware of their internalized barriers and heal towards a more fulling narrative where individuals are able to reach their full potential while integrating a social justice framework.
I am a couple’s and family therapist with special interests in treating and healing mental illness, parent-child psychotherapy, childhood trauma, and socio-cultural issues. I work in divorce/co-parenting mediation, premarital, domestic violence, and other forms of couple’s therapy.
Instead of focusing on what the problem is, the aim is towards transforming the effects of the problem by helping clients see themselves as separate from the problem. I will help clients began to realize their strengths and abilities through the context of their own personal experiences and relationships by helping them re-create a new story or narrative.
